Great post and I like the idea of the podcast. Comes in very handy when at work and can write notes when listening.
I can totally sympathize with the exhaustion and annoyance of the partisan hypocrisy. I grew up in Southern California but moved to the Midwest 20 years ago, so I've seen the good and bad to both also. One of the most difficult things of it is when you can never see eye to eye on 100% of anything and it's shocking people still don't understand that. I think one of the many reasons is we went from "never talking politics or religion", to that being the most common conversation every day. Then throw in censorship lol.
I'm very happy to keep people's minds occupied at work. I know it always makes my workday go by much faster! lol
I think it's a good thing that people are having these conversations, even though people will bang heads a lot of times. But I also think through those conversations people will resolve some of their cognitive dissonances, which is always a tumultuous but beneficial undertaking.
Great message. I agree with a lot of your message. We coming together as one is what our country needs not the next "popular" person running for president and leading us through the agenda they want to sell.
