When combined with geolocation and search history, they allow platforms to stage micro-interventions: a targeted ad, a changed recommendation, a redirected belief.
This is surveillance capitalism metastasized into surveillance cognition. The user is no longer just the product—they're the experiment.

The World Economic Forum has promoted emotional AI as a tool for "enhancing human potential," yet in practice it’s a method of emotional steering. Mood-detection cameras are being tested in Chinese classrooms and U.S. border control stations. In the EU, airports have begun piloting facial emotion scanners for security screening.

Your perception of reality—your news, your social network, your beliefs, your fears—is shaped by systems that dynamically adjust based on engagement metrics, sentiment analysis, and pre-modeled behavior maps.
These systems do not serve you. They were not designed to serve you.
Platforms claim neutrality, but their architecture is ideological. They push conformity, reward outrage and emotionally driven tribalism. Even worse than that, they invisibly quarantine heterodoxy which is the single driver of moving technology forward as well as culture and societies. “Democracy” becomes a skin suit draped over an AI-powered behavioral simulation, where every reaction you make is measured, modeled, and monetized.
